Lynsey's Baby Shower

With a little more than a month to go before Lynsey's due date, we held a party to "Flood" Lynsey with gifts and best wishes for the new baby. The guest list was extensive and spoke a lot as to the number of friendships Lynsey has developed and maintained over the years. There were people from as far back as elementary school there! As per usual when it's a group of women getting together, there was lots of food and we spent the majority of our time eating. I managed to get a few games in while Lynsey opened gifts. She got a huge assortment of gifts - the most creative coming from her old co-workers at Unisys who all bought their favourite childhood book to create a library of sorts for the baby. Lynsey was incredibly touched by everyone's generosity and got through the day with only a few tears.
