A Summer Weekend

It's spring in the capital and as per usual we have skipped right by the spring like temperatures into a summery weekend. The temperature was around 24 degrees Celsius all weekend and we took advantage and spent as much time outside as possible. First Matt assembled all of Simon's outdoor toys with Simon as his ever so helpful assistant, then we headed out front to play, sweep and rake. We managed to balance off the work and the play and get quite a bit accomplished. Our yard is looking 100 times better and both Matt and I have the start of a tan. Brutus loved being outside all-day too and he's much better with the barking. We also ate outside which makes clean-up a breeze. Next weekend will probably be snowing knowing the weird weather around here so we're glad for this break from the ordinary.
