Let's Go Fly a Kite, Up to the Highest Heights

Well it was a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Sunny with a breeze perfect for flying a kite. My parents have this monster kite that needs hurricane force winds to get it airborne but Matt being an over achiever managed to get it airborne the first try. Simon loved watching the kite in the sky and rotated between pointing at the kite and eating the more interesting dandelions! I proved to be a useless assistant when it came to getting the kite up and was quickly demoted to kitchen duty with my Mum, the other mother (on Mother's Day). We started back up after Simon's failed nap, this time with two kites and two more kids. Braedon did a great job with the parrot kite and provided us with a great source of entertainment when he had to take cover from a diving kite. Emjae was determined to fly a kite on her own, but like Simon, she was also easily distracted by the dandelions.
