Miles @ One Month

Well the first month with Miles was infinitely easier than the first month with Simon. I'm not sure if that is due to him being an easier baby, or a combination of the delivery and recovery being easier, Matt being off for a month, and our experience with being second-time parents.

At One Month, Miles
-is wearing size 0-3 month clothing having outgrown the newborn stuff we borrowed in a week and a half (thank godness we didn't invest in anything!)
-has gained weight at a rapid pace
-wears size 1 diapers even though they are still ridiculously big (we weren't able to commit to opening another pack of newborn size since he is growing so rapidly)
-is starting to have more awake periods during the day after sleeping away the first few weeks of his life
-wakes once or twice at night to eat
-hates the car, most of our car rides involve Matt or I reaching over the seat to pop in the soother or our finger to settle him
-has blue eyes, dark brown hair and baby pattern baldness - his hair line is receding into a mohawk
-is generally pretty easy going and happy
-is still sleeping in the Master Bedroom in a bouncy chair which keeps him upright and helps drain the nasal passages from his first cold
-is starting to track voices and motion and turns to look at us when we're talking
